IAMLENGA. Well, technically I AM MULENGA, Bwalya Mulenga, and this blog is essentially going to be about me. Now, I don’t know if that sounds thrilling to you or if you’ve already proclaimed my vanity, but hold up, let me finish: this blog is going to be about me, and essentially my “two cents” regarding social issues and injustices occurring globally. The reason I started off by saying this would be about me, is that my views have definitely been shaped by an amalgamation of factors. I am writing from the perspective of a: Young Black-African Christian Plus-Size First-Generation Immigrant Cisgender Female University Student These factors all intricately interact to formulate my views on the world. My perceptions on the world that you and I live in. In no way am I claiming to have all the answers to these social issues at all.
